Check whether the access model fits
Skyscanner’s Travel API partner page describes commercial access and case-by-case selection. If you are building an early prototype, confirm your eligibility before making that integration a launch dependency.
For an embedded flight booking flow: evaluate Duffel
Duffel’s flight integration guide walks through offers and order creation, beginning with a test access token. That makes it a candidate to investigate when you want to build a booking flow. Confirm production approval, coverage, commercial terms and post-booking operations for your business; test access and production readiness are distinct.
For lodging: evaluate a lodging-specific integration
If your actual requirement is accommodation, review hotel API options instead of substituting one flight integration for another. Expedia Group Rapid and Booking.com’s Demand API have their own onboarding and product models.
For itinerary content: use a separate service
A product that only creates suggested day plans may not need flight prices at all. A structured itinerary service can create a draft from destination and traveller preferences. Compare the itinerary builders in the directory for planning workflows, and confirm any API access directly with the vendor. A planning feature is not a replacement for Skyscanner inventory.
A shortlist you can actually evaluate
Write down your required markets, monetisation model, booking location, expected request volume and support responsibilities. Give each provider the same brief. Compare access, data freshness and transaction coverage before comparing response syntax.
We have reviewed the linked documentation, not benchmarked these providers or negotiated their contracts. No provider pays for inclusion in this comparison.
